SPYM Mission Statement:

Called by God the Father through Jesus Christ, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, rooted in the Eucharist we seek to encourage and engage all youth of the parish, to help feed the desire of community, knowledge and spiritual thirst of all young people, always upholding the love of Christ and His Church.

Am I am able to register for High School Confirmation?


If your student is:

-entering into the sophomore (10th) year of High School

-has received baptism

-has received 1st Communion

Confirmation Registration starts June 3rd, 2019 during the Youth Ministers open office hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday , and Thursdays: 1:00 pm-6:30 p.m.

High School Confirmation Registration Requirements:

  • Copies of Student's Birth, Baptismal, and 1st Communion Certificate

  • Registration Packet, to be picked up day of registration

  • Registration Fee is per year. Fee is all inclusive and includes: Registration, Books, Retreat (See the bottom for fees)

The confirmation program for high school students is a 2 year process; registration is required for each new year, and all registration requirements must be met for each year.

  • Classes are every Sunday, times are dependent upon their Year, ie: 1st Years: 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm and 2nd Years: 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

  • Students must meet requirements for each year, ie: a minimum number of attendances/hours/points for: Classes, Community Service, Parish Activities, Youth Fundraisers and Youth Ministry Groups (Bible Study, Discipleship Group, Youth Group). Exact hour/attendance/point requirements for 2019-2020 are TBA

  • Students may also be asked to complete assignments, home or in class, and/or do projects. 

  • Students also must attend a required weekend long retreat, students who do not attend are dropped from the program.

  • Students are allotted 3 total absences for the program year, and will be dropped on the 4th, they do not have to be consecutive absences

Please note, that once classes begin on September 22nd, 2019 and no refunds will be given for transfers or dropped students after that date.
